Explore modern colour theory and colour mixing in this hands-on workshop.

This demo talk will be full of practical exercises, tips and tricks to  get  you mixing your paints with more confidence.  Learn about the properties of acrylic paint and how to get the maximum results using a limited colour palette. 

About the Artist Facilitator

Paul McKenna  Cork  Painter and Printmaker. He undertook his undergraduate studies at St. Martins College, London,  graduated with a BA in Graphic design; majoring in illustration and printmaking. He has been working as an art teacher since 2013, facilitating classes and workshops with Cork city and county community groups. He is  also a member of Cork Printmakers and Sample Studios. In 2022, he was awarded the Dearcan Bursary award from Cork County Council and Cork  South Local Enterprise Office, with a 12-month residency at benchspace,  which  has been extended  till 2024.
